I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible healing that takes place in group-therapy and…
We all need spiritual support, not only intuitive and channeled guidance; we also need the kind of support that is grounded in everyday life.
I recently received a psychic reading, as I wanted to experience intuitive awareness from outside of my own perspective. Sometimes that can be very helpful, except that I left the session feeling like something was missing. My process was missing. There was no space within the psychic session and nor did the person have the skill to help me process my emotions, thoughts, and beliefs.
It struck me as a powerful reminder that my integrative counseling approach offers just that – intuitive consulting with process healing, and how important and needed this integration is.
Many people come to see me after they have tried conventional counseling and medicine.
When new clients first see me, they are often at wits end with issues that have yet to be addressed. They come ready to uncover the root cause of their concerns, patterns, blocks, and relationship difficulties. They yearn for a sense of purpose and freedom.
Some of these clients see me after they have worked with psychics and alternative healers, when they still feel confused and uncertain. They come to integrate the psychic information and healing into their everyday lives, to gain better clarity and to find their own grounding – their own voice.
Integration is paramount for deep healing and self-empowerment to occur.
Readings, channeled guidance and intuition offer us so much insight, but we learn through experience.
This is why process-oriented counseling, a form of body-centered Therapy is so important – it supports the awareness of our body.
It’s by exploring the deeper information within the body that we can understand our experiences more fully and change the patterns that no longer serve us.
Process-oriented therapy is a way in which we can fully connect with our wisdom. It is an experiential therapy based on the understanding that we store memories and emotions in our bodies.
In our western culture, there is a strong emphasis on the rational thinking mind, but body memories, feelings and core-beliefs are not logical.
We can become overwhelmed and distressed by the dichotomy between our thinking minds and our knowing subconscious, and thereby override life experience with projections and reactions.
When this occurs, any form of intuitive consulting cannot even begin to approach the deep pain stored within the body. That requires skillful process-based support to enable a client to feel and sense into his/her own inner awareness.
“People often repress the impulses, emotions and feelings that form part of our experiences, and body centered psychotherapy opens up their understanding and experience of these aspects.”
– Counselling BC
“The awareness and understanding gained in this process can help you develop a deep inner sense of knowing, reduce anxiety and depression, make healthy decisions, set boundaries in relationships, and feel grounded and more confident.” – Lifeworks
BodySOUL Integration is a form of Spiritual Counseling coupled with Body-centered therapy that looks at the connection between mind, body and soul.
There is a rich inner world that can only be found in the expression of emotions, confession of thoughts and beliefs, and the unraveling of one’s own inner guidance.
Intuitive consulting, channeling and healing then become tools for revealing that inner guidance.
With BodySOUL Integration, the connection between body, mind and soul is supported. Integration brings about conscious revelations, as it releases and restores the body, and nourishes the soul. I feel blessed that I can share this gift with you. It is truly an honour.
